Mom Meets Patient

The Play at Home Story

Stephanie Lint, PT, DPT

Owner and Lead Physical Therapist
I have spent the better part of my career as a pediatric physical therapist advocating for early referral for infants with torticollis and plagiocephaly. Treating these diagnoses is kind of my “thing.” So, when my older daughter was born, I instantly noticed that she had a left head tilt and right head turn preference. Naturally, I would have a child with congenital muscular torticollis, why not? I started treating her within the first 2 days of her life. We repositioned, stretched, did tummy time whenever possible, and I wore her in a carrier instead of putting her in the stroller for neighborhood walks.

Stephanie started Play at Home Physical Therapy to provide specialized care to children in need. In her time practicing physical therapy at some of the country's most respected hospitals and organizations, Stephanie has developed substantial expertise treating torticollis, plagiocephaly, cerebral palsy, and other pediatric diagnoses. Stephanie strongly believes that providing one-on-one, personalized care to children is invaluable and when provided directly in the home, it sets the stage for success.

Stephanie received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Penn State University in State College, PA. She has worked in virtually all settings including inpatient pediatrics, outpatient, NICU, EI, neonatal clinic, schools, and aquatics.

When Stephanie is not treating patients, she loves spending time with her husband, two little girls, and rescue dog, Ridley.
