Both of our toddlers (1.5 and 3.5) have completed PT with Stephanie. Every aspect, from her very thorough initial evaluation, to the gentle patience she showed with two less than cooperative kids, was fantastic. The kids showed progress very quickly and were always excited when the "climbing doctor" was coming. Working with Stephanie was a great decision!

I contacted Stephanie because I was having difficulty getting in touch with Early Intervention. We were able to set up an evaluation within a week. The evaluation and therapy sessions were conducted via telehealth due to the COVID-19 pandemic however I did not feel like the sessions were any different than if it were in person. Stephanie provided functional activities to help improve my son's strength and coordination. Stephanie also provided great suggestions for how to incorporate the therapy activities into our everyday routines so it didn't even feel like "therapy". Within a few days of practicing exercises and positional strategies, my son was able to transition in and out of sitting, pull himself to stand and cruise more confidently. Within a few weeks, he was able to tolerate hands and knees position and crawl up the stairs independently. Stephanie provided great handouts/written instructions after each session which I found to be super helpful to reference during the week. Finally, Stephanie was a great support/cheerleader for both myself and my son. We are so glad that we contacted Play at Home and didn't wait around for EI.

Stephanie has been working with my one year old son for several months and we have been so thrilled with her and with his progress. When we started with her, he was 9 months old and barely rolling and not crawling at all. Within weeks, he was rolling, crawling, standing on his own, and even starting to walk on his own! She has been extremely accommodating and patient teaching us how to help him do his exercises. She makes adjustments every week based on his progress and thinks he likes/doesn’t like to keep him from getting frustrated. She has also been great working with my rotating work schedule. I would highly recommend working with her for your child’s PT needs!

Stephanie has been working with our one-year old son on his strength and gross motor skills for several months, and it has been an absolute pleasure to work with her. We had a couple of sessions in person, and then transitioned to virtual visits as a result of Covid-19. The switch to teletherapy visits was seamless, and we are thrilled with our son's progress. Stephanie is cheerful, patient, and has a great demeanor when interacting with our little guy. She also is professional, extremely knowledgeable, and a very effective communicator, using a doll to demonstrate the exercises and providing helpful handouts. We feel fortunate to be working with Stephanie and would highly recommend her to other families!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Play at Home Physical Therapy. Steph was a huge, huge help to us, and she was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and flexible with telehealth visits. I will actually miss our PT sessions!
